A Culture of Respect

Client:

Chobani

Date:

May 2025

Tool:

Storyline

Chobani Australia wanted to transform compliance training into a meaningful learning experience that truly reflected their culture of respect, inclusivity, and integrity. We created a 30-minute interactive course that combined brand-inspired visuals, realistic storytelling, and critical reflection to make respect training engaging, relatable, and action-focused.

Client Brief:

A leading food company, Chobani Australia wanted to create an engaging learning experience that would build a workplace culture grounded in respect, inclusivity, and integrity. The training needed to go beyond compliance and spark reflection on real life scenarios among the team members.

The Challenges:
  • Making respect training feel relatable, not a box-ticking exercise.

  • Balancing storytelling with clarity for a diverse workforce.

  • Maintaining consistency in branding, visual style, and interactivity.

An interesting focus point was Chobani’s dynamic brand identity. I felt it was important to bring those visual elements into the learning experience, so the training felt authentic and aligned with their culture.

The Process:

We kicked off with workshop sessions with the Chobani team and a deep dive into their content. From there, I mapped out the flow to understand the bigger picture of the learning experience.

Using Figma, I explored Chobani’s brand identity by collecting inspiration and placing references outside the frames. I then pulled visual elements from their branding to create something playful, while still staying true to their style and identity.

While developing the visual design, we also crafted the storyboard using a human-centred approach—placing learners in realistic workplace situations where their decisions have real consequences. Through interactive storytelling and a conversational tone, we made the content more engaging and relatable, steering clear of corporate jargon.

The Outcome:

The result is a 30-minute interactive experience built in Storyline:

  • Abstract Visuals: Used abstract and vector design to maintain neutrality on sensitive topics and avoid assigning blame.

  • Engaging Start: Kicked off with 7 myth-busting questions to challenge assumptions and highlight why this training matters.

  • Critical Reflection: Prompted learners to reflect on their choices and understand the impact of their actions.

  • Balanced Storytelling: Combined realistic scenarios with clear legal context to help learners spot inappropriate behaviours.

  • Empowered Action: Guided learners on what steps they can take and the support options available to them.
